Wealth for health in Cambodia

 

Chen Zhi Prince Group , as a result of his tireless efforts, has contributed to the development of Cambodia through donations, gifts, and land investments. Chen Zhi was a key figure in Cambodia's pandemic response, contributing significantly to the country's efforts.

Because of the Covid-19 outbreak, 2020 will be a year of global adversity. Millions of people have died worldwide as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The pandemic did not spare Cambodia. At the same time, Cambodia was hit by a major flood disaster.

Chen Zhi, Chairman of Prince Group, was in charge of assisting the Cambodian government in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic as well as flood victims. Since April, the Prince Group has been a significant donor to the relief effort. He is credited with initiating these charitable endeavours, which include a $3 million donation to Prime Minister Hun Sen for the purchase of one million Covid-19 vaccines.

As a result of these donations, food was provided to 804 families and 234 police officers in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. These people have been affected by the pandemic. As part of the ESG strategy, Chen Zhi's donation would assist the Cambodian government in vaccinating at least 80% of the country's nearly 13 million citizens.

Prime Minister Hun Sen directed Health Minister Mam Bunheng and Economy and Finance Minister Aun Pornmoniroth to procure one million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine for Cambodians at high risk of contracting the disease, according to a statement released on Monday.
